Falsetto and concise lyrics are the main components in the band HWC. The four piece indie pop and post rock band are relatively new to the music scene in Ireland but I can assure you they will go a long way. The bands influences range from Wild Beasts to The Smiths and the instruments consist of guitars, a piano and drums. Their upcoming and long awaiting E.P. Apparitions will be out in January and as a big fan, it really can't come soon enough. HWC's sound is one that is unique and with two great lead singers there is no shortage of options. Doubled with that is the lyrics, the lyrics that are so neatly yet effortlessly constructured and eerie it's a perfect reverberation. The thing about them is you won't hear any band around Ireland with the same individuality right now and that space in the market is waiting for a group like them. My favourite track of theirs is 'Window to the heart'.The soft rhythimic sounds and sweet guitars will put any audience into a dreamy trance.
