I've being going through sort of a lull lately in terms of writing so I've been moving more to things that don't require words, such as photography. Trying my hand at something that I've had a huge interest with a long time, I've been attempting to teach myself and experiment along the way. Hopefully it will result in somewhat of a successful online portfolio. I use a Canon EOS 550D most of the time, which is pretty basic. Though I'm not quite satisfied by slr photos in general, they're great quality and have cool techniques but they just lack the characteristic of a film camera or disposable. My dream is to have a Leica someday. While building up my portfolio, I've done a shoot I've named 'The people of Shakey Bridge'. Here's a look at it...

 

At the moment I'm island hopping through the Greek Island. As expected, there's not much to see fashion- or music-wise, so I'm feeling a bit deprived. But the inspiration lies elsewhere..in the land and the sky. I am capturing as many images as I can along my travels, but it proves difficult when each sunset just gets better and better. I can't really complain. Here are some snaps that I've taken so far. More to come soon.
