The future is now

So, it's 2013, it's another new year and you know what that means. It means more fresh starts, more things to look forward to, more new trends and more new resolutions. But instead of the same old shizz I've decided to dedicate a piece about the joys of a timeless classic - minimalism. I can never seem to be able to pull away from it. It's crisp, clean edge is powerful in its simplicity, as well as being seductive. It's all about the architecture. I may be ignoring all the other trends but not because I don't like them, but frankly trends don't last and minimalism is superior. It is so much more than a trend. It's more of an flawless idea, a tradition. A close relation to this is monochrome with its checkerboard prints, lines and squares, this creates a sleek look. Another look I just adore is everlasting metallic sheen, which is introduced time and time again and yet doesn't distance itself too far from minimalism. This look stands out as a great statement piece anytime, day or night.

Think Jil Sander, Balenciaga and Jonathan Saunders.
Buy Acne.

And remember - less is always more.
