Milan fashion

On a recent trip to Milan, I couldn't help but be fascinated by everything from the street style to the designer stores themselves. Milan has been the leading centre of fashion since the 1980s and you can see why. The style is like no other; effortless and elegant with a minimalistic twist. Another thing that intrigued me was the fact that they are quite conservative when it comes to clothing yet they pull it off so well. Colours that dominate are blacks, navys and beiges giving a casual rich feel. It's evident that wealth is a main factor within Milan and in particular around the streets of Quadrilatero d'Oro and La Galleria. This means snobbery is a given but it really is a shoppers paradise or for me just a window shoppers paradise (for now).I even visited the house of my favourite designer, Gianni Versace.  That's three fashion capitals I've been to and one to go. Here are a couple of snaps I took around the streets.
